BI Dashboards (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us") is a South African business and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This page explains what we collect through this website, why, and your rights.

What we collect and why

  • Booking details. When you book a call, scheduling is handled by Microsoft Bookings on our Microsoft 365 tenant. We receive the name, email address, and any notes you provide, and we use them solely to hold and conduct the meeting.
  • Direct contact. If you contact us directly, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to assist you and maintain our business records.
  • Website analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). These tools use cookies and collect data in aggregate; we do not use them to identify you personally.
  • Embedded content. The portfolio page embeds interactive reports from Microsoft's Power BI service, and fonts are served by Google Fonts. Those providers may record standard technical data (such as your IP address) when the content loads.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
  • We do not send marketing communications without your consent.
  • We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Sharing and storage

Personal information is stored in our Microsoft 365 environment and with the analytics providers named above, some of which store data outside South Africa under their own safeguards. We share personal information only with service providers necessary to run this website and our diary, or where the law requires it.

Your rights under POPIA

You may ask us at any time to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You may also object to processing or withdraw consent. Contact us at info@bidashboards.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
